Psychotherapy Services

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I offer evidence-based and culturally-responsive therapy for adults, including individual, relationship, and group therapy.

Currently serving clients in Louisiana and Texas, with in person appointments available in Uptown New Orleans in a peaceful sunroom-style office facing a therapy garden.

Approach to Therapy

  • Anchored in evidence-based therapy approaches, with a focus on embodiment, community connectedness, and cultural authenticity

  • Supportive of the client’s expertise about their own experiences, needs, and culture

  • Appreciative of client feedback and engagement in their care

  • Trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and committed to anti-racism

Group Therapy

  • Interpersonal Process Group Therapy is a group therapy approach that allows clients to practice connecting and communicating with others, expressing themselves authentically, understanding and conveying their emotions and experiences, and being present, regulated, and attuned to others

  • Registration is now open for two in-person groups running for eight weeks in Fall 2026:

    • 2SLGBTQIA+ & Neurodivergent Group, Fridays, 5:30-6:45, 9/11-10/30

    • 2SLGBTQIA+ and Local, Native, or Indigenous to Louisiana Group, Tuesdays, 5:30-6:45, 9/8-10/27

Individual Therapy

  • The first therapy appointment is an extended two-hour session to allow for us to complete your intake process in the first session. During your intake, we discuss: what to expect from therapy, your reasons for starting therapy, your psychological, medical, and social history, and your cultural background. We then collaborate on your Treatment Plan, which will include your therapy goal(s) and what therapy approach(es) we will use.

Payment and Rates

Therapy appointments are scheduled and billed through SimplePractice, which accepts cash, most major credit cards, and FSA/HSA cards. I do not accept insurance and am considered an out of network provider. I can provide superbills at client request if they have out-of-network benefits.

About 1/3 of my therapy caseload is reserved for sliding scale spots, which start at about 60% of the standard rate. Sliding scale spots are offered as available to those with financial need and are reviewed annually. During our initial consultation, I can inform potential clients if there are any sliding scale spots currently available. I especially encourage people who experience significant health disparities to consider the sliding scale if needed— for example, 2SLGBTQIA+ young adults and elders, chronically ill and disabled people, and Black, Indigenous and native New Orleanians.

THERAPY APPOINTMENT RATES

  • Individual Therapy $160
